I am buying a 3 year old standard Shetland gelding, approx. 40 inches, with a good front, good hind quarters and plenty of bone. Question - I will bring him on slowly this year but next year when he is 4 and pulling a Bennington mini two wheeler how much work could or should he do? Could he do a few driving competitions and how far could he pull me on the flat? ALL suggestions most welcome.
