Christmas is here, the goose has got very fat and this goose fat spread onto the sole of the hoof will help prevent hoof snow balls. Old remedy that works. Also works well on harness when putting away for a length of time but don't go too mad with it. |

We used gaffer/duck tape on our cob which worked really well & its not too expensive! |

I put vet wrap round my ponies hoofs this always works for me.

Does anyone have anyway to stop the snow balling in horse's feet. I am using vaseline and this helps them to flick the balls out but isn't stopping them. Any help much appreciated.... Clare Iveagh |
