The test has been updated to clarify what its writer intended: Movement 8: X Halt on the diagonal, front axle on X We also 'clarified' Movement 9 to say HCM curve right since that movement is a slightly squashed half circle and calling it a circle offended some. The rule in BC and ICD remains that the mark for the halt - and other transitions - refers to the lead horse's nose. However in this case the author of the test intended the halt at X to be front axle (and the halt at G to be as normal with the lead horse's nose at H). I'm sorry that led to conflicting answers, thanks to those who pointed that out and hope it is clear now.

ICD Office answer to a similar question on Posted on Wednesday, 23 September, 2015 - 11:42 am was Unless otherwise stated all movements are at the horse nose. Hope this helps. Good luck this season to everyone. I believe the earlier answer is the correct one. |
