I thanks for the info. Can't make the 7th as I will be away on holiday. Will sort out the membership and entries for December when I get back though. Really looking forward to it already.

Sacha - Sue's right, of course - horse vehicles should be 125 cms minimum track width - sorry! I was thinking of pony vehicle width. Fiona. |

Sacha, I am very pleased that you had a good time and thanks for coming! I hope we made you feel welcome: we are a friendly lot and want more competitors. Why don't you consider competing in our next event at Orwell Arena on Sunday, 7 November? You can, of course, enter Novice Horse class with your Andalusian but we also run the Club Class especially for newcomers - ultra low-pressure, a chance to get the hang of competing and you go on near the end of the morning, so you can watch a few people and ask any outstanding questions before your go. Whatever your choice of class, your vehicle should have a minimum 120 cms track width - that's to the outside of the tyre track or widest part of the vehicle (see the rules on this site for more details, if you haven't already). Don't worry if your vehicle is wider - we could put you thro' the cones with horse pairs(!). If it's narrower, you can either fit a scurry bar or something to make it wider or just come anyway in Club Class, when it does not matter too much! Having pneumatic tyres does not matter at all. Please call me if you'd like more information - closing date for entries is end of Weds 27 Oct so please let me know (fax or email) if you'd like to compete - we'd love you to join us! Hi Sacha Your vehicle will be fine for indoor HDT so long as it is the correct width (125cm for horses). Check the rules for the sport (which are on the website), and then go and enjoy yourself - you are bound to have a great day, your area is one of the most welcoming in what is anyway an extremely friendly discipline. |

Hi visted driving trials at Levingdon in East Anglia yesterday and had a great day out. Very impressed with the organisation of the event and the attitude of the organisers and competitors. I would love to join the club but only have a two wheeled exercise cart on pneumatics. I drive a 15.3hh andalusian x so it would boost the numbers for the novice horse. Is the execise cart acceptable for the events? When I got var/www yesterday I drove a couple of the precision and paces tests and did some cones and all feels fine to me and horse seems very happy with it. |
