Priors Millie (7ys, black) & Matilda, (rising 5, chestnut / flaxen).
Mother/daughter pair, well matched except for colour ;-) Both approx 36”
Millie was started last winter, driven successfully as a single at local indoor and club events/training days, as tandem wheeler, and regularly used in a pair with another of my shetlands. She long-lines beautifully as a pair with Matilda, and really knows the ropes! Very forgiving and sensible, she works in a nice outline but is speedy when needed!
HOWEVER: Matilda was still in the process of being started - no assistant has now delayed the process of actually putting to. She is very light and responsive to long rein, and I have put in lots of ground-work with her, and I will continue to work with her as time allows. Option of sending her to be professionally finished at buyers cost...
Both are forward going, traffic proof, but have brakes. Used to pigs, both excellent to ride alone or ride & lead / travel / farrier / regularly wormed / teeth / vaccinated / passports. Done pony rides at village fete, both well handled from a young age.
***Millie is in foal to a stunning palomino stallion - foal due late march, hence she has not been driven recently. Pictures available, including of sire.
Sensible offers around £1250 considered for the three of them, var/www more important! Would consider splitting if necessary - they aren't joined at the hip, and happily work apart. However, they will make a lovely pair, and ideally suit someone who wants a project, as Matilda will need bringing on first. Genuine reason for sale due to a change in circumstances, I would not be parting with them. Kent. 07809 688 880 / 01227 720464 or PippaLuE@gmail.com
