The snow and Ice have finally gone and I got back in the saddle for the first time in 4 weeks today. What a feeling! It was only a 40 minute brisk walk round the local roads to get us both back into the swing of things but so enjoyable. You dont realise how much something means to you until it's gone or you can't do it any more so ROLL ON SPRING!! Full marks to my little horse,Willie, bless him - despite 4 weeks off and confined to barracks due to ice- he was a little saint- a bouncy little saint that is! Harness and carriage out tomorrow - fingers crossed! |
