We had the most amazing weekend and thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the people who went. A big thank you to you all and welcome to those who have become new members. I will be contacting you all shortly and we are all looking forward to seeing you at the shows, either with your own ponies or just coming to help us with ours !! The event of course has insurance cover but just thinking that BDS membership/insurance doesn't cover scurry driving which if visitors are only BDS members they must be aware of. | ||

Sorry, you said on your first post that you could be a BDS, IHDTA or BHDTA member. On your second post you said you have to be a BHDTA or BHS GOLD. Which one is correct? | ||

We have had a fantastic response so may I ask those who are wanting to come and have not been in touch yet, to please contact me to squeeze you in. It is planned to follow a morning programme and then an identical one in the afternoon. Visitors are welcome to do one or stay for the day as long as we know please. Refreshments, BBQ food, will also be available. Only one or two places left for Saturday and just a bit more for the Sunday. Be quick, don't miss out. Visitors must have current BHS Gold or BHDTA membership if bringing and driving their own ponies. I've loved answering your many enquiries and bookings - keep it up !!! | ||

SAT 27th & SUN 28th MARCH 2010 AT KINGSWAY HOUSE, GREENSWARD LANE, ARBORFIELD, BERKSHIRE, RG2 9JN The Scurry Driving Association is to hold an open to all training and information weekend. Open to everyone who wants to find out more about our exciting sport. Opportunities to drive a pair of experienced ponies around a scurry course. BHDTA, IHDTA and BDS members may wish to bring their own ponies. We will have carts available to use for everyone. Drive a single pony ? Want to double up ? Want to know more about what small ponies are capable of ? Come and join in and find the answers. Those wishing to bring their own ponies would you ring Carole on 01507 327004 any evening, 6pm - 9pm to let her know what day and approx. time you would like to arrive as there is limited parking for lots of large lorries and we want to make sure you have plenty of time. A full weekend of fun and information. Just come along and join in the fun.
