Hi, Sheri - I'll try...! Yes, the person with the most points in each qualifying class in the events (minus one) in one area usually qualifies for the Finals (that is, 6 events - points to count from best 5). (A pony qualifier may choose to go in the small pony class.) Some areas run club class and this is not a championship qualifier class. A driver can qualify in one or two classes. You must be a member of IHDT UK in order to qualify and the points are accumulated separately for each area in which you compete: I don't know of any other club membership rules. The Championship tests will be published shortly... We run an event on 12 March and that weekend is (normally) the latest that qualifiers can take place as Rita has a HUGE amount of paperwork to do to sort out who has qualified from where + juniors, veterans, small ponies. Everyone who's qualified should get a letter with the Championships schedule and an entry form around mid-March. Hope that helps? I'm sure others will put me straight if necessary! F |

Hi all, I just wondered if anyone could clear a few things up for me please - they are probably right in front of me but I can't find them! How do you qualify for the Champs? I know you have to have the most points in a said class in your area - So does that mean there is qualifier for each class and area? If you are a member of IHDT and a member of an area club but compete at a different club can you still qualify? Where are the tests for the champs? I saw on the news page that its different tests for Novices/ Juniors & the Inter/Open but where are the tests? I can't find them on here (not that I am going to qualify lol just fancied a look)! If entries close early March and there are area events after this date how do they know who's qualified?! Thank you in advance
