I wish to add my thanks for the 30th dec Wix event and also to say how much I enjoyed the modified format! Can we retain driving obstacles 3&4 the same as Obstacles 1&2 in the future? If not for all classes, then at least for the Club class, as this is not a qualifying class for the finals | ||

We too would like to add our thanks to everyone involved in running the indoor events, it reaally makes you think when you get weather like last week how lucky we competitors are that these people give up their time and turn out in all conditions to enable us to have our fun! We would like to add our thanks to Fiona and the Indoor Team for a great day in very difficult weather conditions We must be all barking mad to spend the day doing this instead of putting our feet up with a glass of something intoxicating and watching the box ( how boring is that??)Also thanks to Absolute Horse for the fancy dress prize of a years free subcription which we won in some very hot competition.I still can't get over Gromits ears and make up and keep having a giggle every time I think about it.HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE ON THE INDOOR TEAM AND ALL DRIVERS/GROOMS IN ALL AREAS Nigel and Janet Sycamore | ||

Thanks to David and daughter Claire for coming, with three horses, and to everyone else who supported us, and Dick, Dave, Roger and Jean - 18 came out of 27 entered! Also a special "Thank you" to Nina Snow and our generous prize donors - Wix EC, Frinton Coachman, Essex Hay and Straw, Parkers Garden Company and Absolute Horse magazine. Most people tinselled up for the day and some went way over the top in the Fancy Dress - not one Santa to be seen, either. Some photos are on www.mikewatts.com Thanks also to those souls who, for one reason or another, decided they couldn't make it, because you all phoned me to say you weren't coming, which makes it all much easier to organise. We were all finished by 3 and packed up by about 3:20 pm, by which time we had plenty of slush but no ice, thank goodness. | ||
