Harriet, as Janet says, please call for a chat, I'm always happy to answer questions and offer support, as required! Our Club Class at Wix is a great introduction for newcomers and you'll get good competition in a small and more evenly matched class - with a better chance of winning a rosette as sometimes there are more than six Novice Pony drivers. Just write CLUB on your entry form in the class bit. Also, did you know that you can enter your very first indoor event without becoming a member of the IHDTC? So don't worry too much about getting your club number: getting your entry in the post is far more important at this stage! Do send it in as soon as possible as it helps me to work out the times well in advance and to (try to) suit people who are sharing carriages/grooms/ponies - without a last-minute rush. I look forward to getting it - call me if you like, 01473 735732 Fiona |

Hi Harriet Welcome to indoor driving is this your first experience of competiion driving ?? if so Fiona runs a club class at wix for folks new to the game and don't feel ready to go straight in at novice level its not a qaulifer for the finals but a good way to get started and you can use any vehicle even it it does not comply with correct track width etc. This is how we did our first season and gained much needed experience .You have up until 10 days before the event to enter if your membership has not arrived by then prehaps ring Rita ( secretary) she may be able to give to you over the phone?? As for carriage details you don't need to put much just wether it is 2 or 4 wheeled make and style(Exercise marathon etc)Any other equires contact Fiona Powell she is always happy to help and gives good sound advise to people starting out. Most of all have fun I am sure you will soon get hooked on it!!
