Am I alone in being a trifle puzzled by the quiet demise of the intermediate Class? The news page states that the IHDT competitions are based on BHDTA rules adapted for the indoors. The outdoors have 5 levels of class, Pre Novice, Novice ,Intermediate Open & Advanced, (perhaps 6 if you include a certain World class Aussie). I'm not advocating all these classes , but I thought the intermediate class made good climbing block for the more experienced but not fully proficient drivers. With many high level Open & Advanced drivers competing ( a good thing I might add!)I feel many Middle Talent Drivers (ie just left Novice) may feel stuck in a rut with no achievable target.
