I have a Shetland Stallion whom I'am competing for the first time this year i am going to the Warwickshire events as i know them and i like the set up lol and they are lovely people. I found it difficult to find a place near me who would accept stallions at their events my closest venue being just over the severn bridge its such a shame that there is such a stigmatism with stallions I've owned shetland stallions since i was 16 and yes they can be a handful but provided they are insured and you know how to handle them I don't know why people back away when you say you have one Mares are entire too and some are worse than stallions. hope you have fun competing with your section A and good luck :-) |

Stallions are no different providing they are treated the same as any other equine, so yes stallions are allowed to compete indoors BUT if your stallion gets above himself then you will have to be responsible for his actions (and your own!) To answer the next question - yes I do know about stallions having been a working stud groom for 15 years. |
