The British Indoor Carriage Driving Championship at Keysoe last weekend produced some really great competition, with Ellen Littlechild and her horse Cliff becoming the 2012-2013 Supreme Champions. As usual Saturday evening was a fundraising night. This year we supported Cancer Research, after hearing of so many people in our sport with Cancer (including within the Indoor Team) a Raffle plus a unique Drive n Ride Inter Area Challenge was organised. The response was fantastic. With the efforts of Angela Starr and the Raffle plus the always good value - Sara Howe raising loads of cash with "can or can't Julie Wedgbury and her team of mighty mice (Shetlands) beat the singles times" Yes they did! The result: Indoor Carriage Driving will be sending a cheque for £1500 to Cancer Research. Well done to everyone - a really great result and a superb weekend of fun and competition. |
