August 3rd - 4th sees the return of the popular driving trials at Normanhurst Estate, Catsfield near Battle in East Sussex. The event is being organised by South East Carriage Driving Clubs including Indoor Carriage Driving. There will be Club classes for everyone (hopefully) also A NOVICE QUALIFIER for the National Championships at Ashfield in September. Dressage and Cones for ALL classes will be on Saturday with the marathon on Sunday. Saturday evening continues the Normanhurst tradition with the Happy Hour for competitors, backsteppers & stewards, which will include a DIY BBQ (you bring the meat of your choice and cook it on one of the BBQ's, and the salad along with a Happy Hour drink, will be provided, FREE!) The marathon will be 12k approx with three section and 6 obstacles. There is a class that will drive the marathon section E only.
