Thanks, Alayne! I learned how to halt a 9m tandem in 10m (more or less straight - in practice, anyway!). If anyone else wishes to join us - the next session is Saturday, 9 November - please let me know you want to come by the Wednesday before. This is because I have to let Wix know our start and finish times then. There is always the possibility of someone cancelling so it's worth contacting me after this if your plans change but I can't guarantee to fit you in and I hate it when someone is disappointed! Regular training will improve your performance! Mike Daniell is a popular and very experienced trainer who is based near Woodbridge, Suffolk. His background includes almost every kind of driving, showing, ridden dressage and eventing. He is a very patient and helpful instructor for drivers of all ages and at all levels. You don't have to compete or be a member of any club to come to these indoor sessions, at Wix EC, near Manningtree. The dates are booked from 11-5pm, as follows: Saturday 5 October Saturday 9 November Saturday 14 December Saturday 11 January 2014 Sessions are for anyone and everyone, from fitting your harness and carriage, long-reining, to putting your best hoof forward in the dressage/latest precision & paces test. The cost of hiring the arena has risen a little and the new rates still offer good value: £34 for 30 minutes £47.50 for 45 minutes £60 for an hour's session This includes Mike's lesson and arena hire and a small contribution towards Mike's travel expenses.
