Hi Jason - Easton College, Norwich event is on Sunday 20th October and you would be very welcome to come along and meet everyone. John Parker and Susan Townsend are judging Precision & Paces if you would like to have the opportunity of meeting up with them. As you will have noticed driving is a very social and friendly sport and it's great you have caught the 'bug'.

Please come along and introduce yourself.

Hope to see you - Elizabeth.

Hi Jason, we were competing at Forest Edge (little bay hackney cross who's pretty quick through obstacles!) Emily (my daughter ) drives with me on the back normally. Next month however I will be helping and just watching so come and say hello. As Cathy said we're a friendly bunch and very supportive of each other, as I'm sure you heard last weekend :-)

Hi, Jason, you are welcome to come and see us at Wix, near Manningtree, Saturday 26 October, too, and you'll meet some of the same people who were at Forest Edge.

We are all friendly and very helpful and, as Cathy says, happy to answer your questions. We also run a "club" class for newcomers. Two-wheelers are welcome especially if that's what you are used to driving and while you and your pony gain experience. You must have a groom on the carriage with you if your pony is over 11 hands.

I recommend Claire Bourne who was competing at Forest Edge and is a qualified instructor. You will need to have a (very simple) assessment done before you can compete - and Claire could do this and give you a lesson, I'm sure. (It's useful to have a lesson before you have a go!) She is based near Newmarket and will travel - 07780 970530

Mike Daniell, near Woodbridge, 01394 410293 - meet him at Wix, if you come.

John Parker, near Diss, 01379 384496, who sometimes judges indoors, too.

These are probably the nearest instructors to you, I think.

I hope we'll see you again - at Swaffham or Wix!

Hi Jason, come & make yourself known to us at the next Forest Edge event, there is quite a few small ponies competing at our event in various vehicles, we welcome help on the ground at the event & it is the best way to learn, that way you can ask lots of questions. Hope to see you & your pony soon, Cathy & Brian
