Diane - it is always the ponies nose unless stated front axle. In this instance it's the nose. Good luck.

Thanks Helen, but does that interpretation comply with the rules? We compete in different areas. Is everybody singing from the same hymn sheet and where can I get a copy?

Hi Daniel, Liz got great precision score last week. Liz reply also confirmed to me by a precision judge. I will be driving my circles & serpentines based on outside wheel next time :-) |

The difference would be 62.5cm or 2 feet in old money so it would be noticeable. |

I’m a bit confused by this. If it’s outside wheel on the serpentine then the horse’s nose will not reach the 5m line. I thought it was horse’s nose unless otherwise stated. I would also have thought this would apply to 15m circles (except where it’s not physically possible at edge of arena). |

Ah, maybe I should have considered this before yesterday! Thank you Liz. |

The outside wheel - same as when driving 15m circles.

Where should the horse/carriage be for the 15m circles & the 5m loop serpentines? Is it horse track i.e. centre of carriage or outside wheel? |
