In principle I agree with you Tara the problem I see is that the tandems & teams do a different P & P test judged by a different person ..more difficult than the small ponies novice grade test which may or may not be a advantage /disadvantage on final score after three phases .. only way I can see to make it fair is hope we get more small pony teams / tandems competing in the future so they can have their own class too :-) |

It seems somewhat sad to me that any small ponies competiting in the tandems or team classes are not included, even though their scores could be (in theory) calculated towards it. So, should the other classes start to get more than the odd one or two small pony entries, will the IDC UK include these within the Small Pony Championship?

Sycamore Carriages are generously sponsoring the new trophy for the new SMALL PONY CHAMPIONSHIP. Maria Keady is also sponsoring a P&P (Dressage) trophy for the best P&P score from ALL the Small Pony Classes. Small Ponies competing for this new Championship may only enter the dedicated classes for Small Ponies. Those competing in any other class are not eligible for this Championship.
