Many scorers at indoor events use Mike Watts' free Excel-based scoring program, which makes scheduling, scoring and publishing the results (in print or in the internet) easy throughout the event and for every phase.
Enter the drivers and classes and you can schedule everyone for their P&P, print and publish the times. At the event, enter P&P for each movement. It will work out the cones time from the measurement given; then enter times and balls down. Print running orders for the obstacles! Enter the obstacle times, KD, penalties...
It even comes with instructions!
Where you have internet access you can post the results throughout the day and at the end of the event at the press of a button.
Where to find it?
Click the "For organisers" link at the bottom of the ICD var/www page and download the instructions and a real working version of the scoring program. You need an up-to-date version of Excel on which to run it. Have fun! |
