Sue, I have some lovely Shires gloves with (purple) neoprene fronts/tops and soft leather palms and fingers. They are really warm and I don't find them too thick. I've got some knitted-y ones with synthetic suede-like palms which are thinner but brilliant in wet weather on leather reins, too.

I need to buy some new gloves for the winter season and want to pick everyone's brains to find a really warm pair that are easy to drive in. I am fed up with agonisingly cold hands but so many gloves are not suitable as they are too thick. Any suggestions?
