With the season more than halfway through our thoughts are turning to the Championship Finals at Keysoe. Many areas have some classes with very close points between the first few, so all is still to play for.

At this moment in time there is the possibility of around 200 qualifiers across the UK. Obviously that number is unmanageable so only the best will be invited in the invitation classes.

Hopefully the schedule running order will remain the same as last year BUT if numbers are greater, class days MAY change.

Hopefully Mike will make online entries available as last year which worked very well. I will shortly contact The College EC to ascertain their livery/portable stabling charges and when they will take bookings for stables etc.

The Championship Finals are not the cheapest of events to organise and run, so once again we are asking for sponsors and donations to cover the costs of each class. Sponsorship from companies will possibly have VAT payable if logos and adverts are included BUT donations do not, so donations are the easiest for all concerned. Those making donations will have their name included in the schedule – printed on rosette tails – and detailed in any other paperwork, schedule or programme. Classes work out at £100 each. Anyone wishing to generously donate rosettes - prizes etc, please contact me asap. Thank you.

The test for the Championship Finals is the same as all qualifiers have used this season for the NOVICE – Small Ponies – Veterans – Intermediate – Young drivers classes. The OPEN classes have the same test but with more change of pace. These tests will be posted shortly.

Keep an eye on the Forum and News page for further details.

Enjoy the remainder of the season.
