We have no snow but wondering if the wealth of knowledge out there may have a helpful opinion that might help my problem. Our 13hh 51/2 yr old sec A x cob driving pony was broken to drive first, and I then broke him to ride, it has taken a lot of time and patience to get him to accept movement up above, I am not sure I want to ride behind blinkers but have seen some people at events doing this, the pony has been ridden with success approx a year and has just deposited me at speed on the ground while I was quietly getting on in a situation which is a regular mounting scenario, they say take off and landing is the most dangerous time lol I mainly ride so am experienced in that department he has always been good to drive. So if you ride in blinkers why? thanks |
