My querie was on the points given which is only shown on the internet after the event, so unable to raise it within the 30 minutes. But it has all been sorted now! |

Please note that, under British Carriagedriving 2014 rules (see page 79, Annex 12), you should raise a query within 30 minutes of the results being posted. After this time, the results are generally accepted, even if there is a mistake.
We (in East Anglia) announce the score as each turnout leaves the arena, post the results live online as we go and print them out after every phase and put them on a notice board and encourage competitors to check them and to ask an event official (not the scorer) immediately if there's a query.
Knowing the rules can help!
For example, when driving a multiple (such as a serpentine marked A, B, C, D) in the cones course, if you drive A and B but break out before driving C, where should you start again?
If, in an obstacle, you drive gates A, B, D, E, A, C, D, E, how many penalties should you get, and for what? (Such fun!) |
