We've just checked this with IHDTC office. In test 12, for both the halts, the horse's nose should be on the mark (B,G). Also, for the 5m deviations, it's the centre of the vehicle which should be 5m from the edge. |

For the halt at B should the horse's nose be at the mark or the front axle? |

I've made very slight changes to the diagrams following feedback from judges, and Barry Marshall who wrote them (not a change to the test, just a clarification of the diagrams). Movements 3 and 5 - the 15m circle doesn't quite touch the short edge of the arena - the outer wheel should be 0.83 m away (?! 33") from the edge. I've now exaggerated that a little on the diagrams so you can see. Movements 2 and 4 - I've amended the diagram of the deviation to show a slight curve at the centre of the deviation rather than a razor sharp change of direction. The updated diagrams are on the link below and the diagrams are dated today 13th March. |

Diagrams for P&P Test 12 I've drawn up diagrams for these tests - they're not official diagrams but I believe they're correct. You can get these at: Open and Multiples test 12 Novice and Juniors test 12 Each of these contain the test and diagrams of the 10 movements. Please contact me if any errors!

The finals test posted by the office is surely wrong. Movements 9 & 10 ? I think the version posted by Mike is correct. Could anyone confirm. Mark Porterfield |

I've updated the tests posted in the link below. To [try to] minimise confusion, you'll see they're labelled 'Issue 2' in the document, near the top. Check back here in case any corrections needed .... |

TO ALL COMPETITORS who think they may have quailified for the Finals, you have NOT quailified unless you receive a letter and schedule from the IHDT UK office. Scottish competitors will be notified by Amanda Nisbitt. The new tests that will be used at the British Finals at Keysoe, are available by email from the IHDT UK Secretary. These tests MAY be used at the remaining quailfying events. Please contact your AREA SECRETARY for confirmation of which test is being used.
