The past 12 months have been very difficult balancing ponies, university and work and we have come to the decision that for now I will take a break from driving, which unfortunately will mean I shall have to sell the ponies. They are a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting to progress into pairs or team and have the potential to qualify for the 2017 Pony World Championships, which was my original aim. I have 6 welsh section A’s, all chestnut and greys between 118 and 125cm. 3 are from the world renowned Templedruid Stud and 3 that we imported from Holland. The 3 Dutch ponies have experience competing abroad at national and international level with a lot of success. Since arriving we have backed all 3 ponies and are now also schooled under saddle. The Templedruid ponies came straight from the stud and have been professionally broken to both ride and drive. All ponies have great temperaments, move well and good confirmation. We have done a lot with them both ridden (Dressage, showing, pony club) and driven and they are ready to go with a new driver and compete at any level you wish. The ponies have had training this season with Boyd Exell and are currently competition, winning at Sandringham club event and junior national championships. We will consider splitting them and sell as singles or pairs. They will make excellent turnouts for anyone from novices to experienced drivers, all of them being more than capable of completing a marathon as a single and make excellent indoor competition ponies. They are well schooled as singles and can show a real difference in their paces I can provide videos of them being driven as a team, singles and as pairs and can be seen in action next at Lowther National.
