I live on a farm with sheep,cattle,alpacas etc.If it was my pony i would walk it round to your local farmer daily in hand until your pony gets used to them.Most of my ponies thought they were scared of my alpacas but i just put them in a paddock alongside and by the following day all good friends.I hope my idea helps you |

I have acquired a lovely 13.2 ride and drive pony.
He is fast, fun, responsive and brilliant in traffic but he is frightened of cows!
I really don't want to spoil him so can anyone recommend where /to who I could send him to see if his fear can be overcome?
We are surrounded by dairy and beef cattle in Derbyshire so it is not ideal but this super pony deserves a chance. |
