Thank you, Ginny and Ruth for coming all the way down to Wix and giving us great competition! "ICD-UK Norfolk's Ginny White swept to victory in the strong open pony class on Sunday at Wix EC. Another win for Danni Claydon, novice pony although challenger Ruth White made her presence felt. Late entrant Fiona Gordon-Clarke took the novice horse ribbon - and the first over 75% - while Chris Patrick pipped Goldie Francis to the open horse title. Dan Twitchen stormed the multiples driving Danielle's pony team, Fiona Powell and Liz Harcombe's pony tandems not so far behind. Margaret Collins sailed round to win club class. Yes, it was breezy but warmish and dryish until we finished at about 5:30 when the storm broke over us. Thank you to all our stalwart and very hard-working helpers, judges Sue Fincham and Mike Daniell, who also commentated all day, and back office stars, you made the day work smoothly and we all, I trust, enjoyed ourselves. Thank you also to photographers Evelyn Radnai, Mike Watts and Melody Fisher." | ||
