What a to do. So sad that this season has not really happened. Went as spectator to Shuttleworth today took about an hour and fifteen at 70mph. So much to far to tow a trailer for me anyway. Car park was tight about 22 entries but good smooth and enjoyable day for all. Bit damp! The trip has returned my enthusiasm which was well and truly lost! S o come on BCA get that roof sorted, or at least allow us to enjoy ourselves. Think they owe us some sort of compensation! | ||

Gosh how hard can it be to fix a roof. Think we should get the no nails out and stick it down ;-) Have you thought of bury farm for a venue? They have a huge car park and lovely indoor schools? | ||

There is no reason we can't go round the other way to arena and then not go anywhere near the roof!! This is absolutely ludicrous, they are basically discriminating against us cause we are driving horses/ponies.. I have been to 2 different events at BCA over the last couple of weeks and not had to go near the roof! | ||

THAMES VALLEY CANCELLED DUE TO ROOF NOT BEING FIXED. I received a phone call from the BCA saying the repair had not been carried out. The date of repair being put back three times and now being 'after Christmas'. Could competitors let me know please that they've received this message. Today after work, I visited two possible venues. Which were not suitable, mainly because we need a large carpark. Outside arenas not very good if the weather is bad or windy. I am working every day until Christmas Eve and don't have any time to visit possible new venues. I have made enquiries with my Riding Club - for ideas of possible venues. Nothing so far. Sally Edwards Marshall kindly visited the BCA today on behalf of Indoor Driving and Monday 28th December's driving event. The roof is booked to be repaired on the 16th and will be fixed before Christmas. Fingers crossed etc. The BCA's hands are tied by Health & Safety. |
