Some fantastic prizes have been promised for the Raffle, including: Driving lessons for two with B&B Flight for one (2 seater plane)to Isle of White for sightseeing and tea then return. Tickets for a show or similar Driving lessons in your area with your chosen instructor. Plus a couple more but we still need a couple more really good prizes. Can you help please? At the British Indoor Carriage Driving Championship 2014-15 a raffle produced £400 that was donated to the Macmillan Nurses. At the coming Championship Finals at Keysoe, 1 – 3 April, it would be fantastic if we could double or even treble the amount and donate it to Cancer Research. So many of us know of someone with this dreadful disease. The scientists are onto the tail of cancer and will find a cure at some point but in the meantime a lot people will develop cancer, could be me or you or a close friend or family. A lot of money is required to continue with the ongoing research. Therefore I would like to propose a BIG Raffle with BIG prizes. Such as: A long weekend away. Ferry/flight tickets to the Channel Islands – Shetland Isles – Isle of Wight, across the Channel, etc. A weekend of carriage driving instruction (with B&B). Tickets for London show/London Eye. B&B for the National Carriage Driving Championship at Cirencester in September. Harness – riding tack – equine clothing – jackets – waterproofs, etc. Please, if you can, donate a big worthwhile prize that will boost the sale of tickets that will only be available at the Championship.
