Just to clarify, at ICD events at Wix if you have not competed at any BC-affiliated club event or ICD qualifier before, we follow BC suggested policy and specify that you must have a competence assessment. We need this before you arrive at the event. (To help everyone's safety). You can get the assessment done during one of these training sessions at Wix (in which case get a 1 hour lesson to allow time), or you can get the assessment done independently and post or email us the completed form. You can get the forms and details here: https://britishcarriagedriving.co.uk/clubpaperwork/index.htm We also strongly advise appropriate training before you take part in an event. |

Following the success of his training sessions at Blandings this summer, Mike Daniell is holding indoor training sessions at East Anglia region's Wix EC - with its lovely new Andrews Bowen surface - starting in September. (Our first event is 22 October so there's time to practise, too!) Everyone is welcome! Mike is happy to cover everything from long-reining, harness-fitting and first steps in flatwork to driving multiples, improving paces and your performance to help you get those extra marks. Dates: Sunday, 18 September - 9-5pm Saturday, 1 October - 9-5pm If you wish to compete indoors for the first time this season and have not competed at any BC-affiliated or ICD qualifier before, you must have a competence assessment before you enter your first event. This takes an hour's lesson and there is no extra charge for your certificate. Please book early to avoid disappointment - call me if you have any query - 01473 735732 or email fionap@innate.co.uk Lesson fees: £33.50/30 minutes, £47.25/45 minutes, £62/60 minutes (fees include the arena hire + small charge for extra lights, if required)
