"Thank you" to everyone who came and joined in, in lots of ways, at our event today!
Everything went pretty smoothly: lots of people helped to put the course up and dismantled it, we ran to time and left the place looking clean and tidy. Lots of smiles...
See www.eventtoevent.com for Evelyn's marvellous photos in a few days!

Please remember to wear your body/back protector when you are on the carriage - driver and groom.

Fancy dress - there will be a small prize for the judges' favourite fancy dress outfit. Any theme!

Please find below the provisional start times for Thursday's Wix World Cup. We'll do our best to run to time however, as always, this is subject to everyone turning up and being on time.

Check the noticeboard for the latest news when you collect your number and sign in.

Kindly be ready and in or around the warm-up arena, without over-crowding it and so the stewards can find you, at least ten minutes before your group's start time. You may be asked to take another driver's slot if that driver is late.

Rosettes will be awarded by class.

Please contact me if you are running late or can't come! 07710 467774

Here is an outline of our Wix World Cup competition on Thursday, 29 December, 2016.

If you have never tried driving a "World Cup" style course of two obstacles combined with cones, now is your chance to have a go. And if you've done it before, you'll know it's great fun!

This is a fun event in the main arena and is not a championship qualifier. Drivers must have competed successfully in indoor driving trials or at a BC-affiliated event before entering this event.

All drivers must be current members of Indoor Carriage Driving-UK.

ICD obstacle rules apply - please remember your body/back protectors. Rosettes will be awarded according to class, kindly sponsored by Donna Moncur, with thanks to qualifier-rosette sponsor Essex Horsebox Repairs.

How does it work?
Each person drives the course three times in turn with the others in their group (in the same way we drive the obstacles normally).

Your first go will be timed and scored but is a practice round only and does not count in the final score. The better of your second and third rounds counts in the competition.

YOU CAN HELP...
If you can come early (8:30) and help us build the course, we'd greatly appreciate it - and later we'll need help to dismantle it at the end of the day, too!

Bring your friends and family to watch or to help? Thank you.

Spectators are very welcome. The ace cafe and animal feed cash and carry will be open and we have the use of the warm up arena.

The schedule will be posted here in the next few days.

Please call me if you have any queries - 01473 735732 or 07710 467774.
