Hi just wondering what peoples views are on having to go hc if you compete with more than one pony at an event? in other equestrian disiplines this is not the case showjumpers and eventers often have more than one ride in a class but this dosent nessasarily give them an advantage. if this were allowed it could boost entries at events . | ||

Pete, as I understand it, if you're already a member of the BHDTA, you don't have to pay part of the affiliation fee, that's all. If you are not a member of the BHDTA, you pay all of the affiliation fee. I'm not sure what the fee for affiliation will be when you join the Indoor HDT Club, but you don't have to join the BHDTA - but I'm not writing with inside knowledge! I'm sure Rita will let us know what the joining fee will be asap. Hope this helps! Aren't we all keen? | ||

From the last post re dates - "is most important that when applying for IHDT UK membership that 2007 BHDTA membership number is stated for 2008 'Indoors' BHDTA Affiliation". I'm not a member of the BHDTA, can I still join the IHDT for the new season? Pete | ||

As stated on the var/www page, dates and venues will be posted very soon. There is a provisional list for organisers BUT SOME OF THESE DATES HAVE CHANGED and will be published as soon as all dates are confirmed. Please be patient just a little longer. 2006 - 2007 members will get an email or letter very soon with fixture list and renewal membership form for 2007 - 08. It is most important that when applying for IHDT UK membership that 2007 BHDTA membership number is stated for 2008 'Indoors' BHDTA Affiliation. First Indoor date is 23 September @ Berkshire College. | ||
