Its possible, but it all depends on the weight post conversion. You might find there's not much payload left over. I have 2 section As and a 4-wheeled vehicle and we uprated our Movano to 3.95 Tons to give the option to eat breakfast and have a full tank of diesel. With one small pony you should be fine, but vehicle length may also need extending beyond a standard 3.5 T horsebox if you want to take a 4 wheeler without radically altering the horse area. If you solve these problems it's a great way to do it, I can do everything on my own with no problems at all, all self contained and the box drives like a car and is fairly economical. although probably not the cheapest was of doing it. Good luck.

We use a Vauxhall Movano van 3.5 tonne converted by www.3countieshorseboxes.co.uk/ who did a bespoke build for our 2 11hh tandem ponies and 4-wheel vehicle with weight to spare. Had it five years now and its been brilliant.

Has anyone any idea what size driving carriage and pony would a 3.5 lorry take? With some careful arrangements inside would it take a Shetland and four wheeler? Have any driving people used this sized lorry to transport a driving combination and if so could you please tell me how you did it?
