Indoor Carriage Driving are proud to present the Carriage Driving Development Scholarship for Novice Drivers. This is through the generosity of an anonymous sponsor, who wishes to promote the skills and art of carriage driving.

The Scholarship will consist of Five Driving Sessions with a UKCC Level 2 or 3 Coach in your area.
This will enable the successful novice drivers to develop their driving skills and set goals for their future driving career.

There are three scholarships available at this year’s ICD Championship Finals, open to all drivers in the three Novice Classes
Section 1: Novice Junior.
Section 2: Novice Pony
Section 3. Novice Horse

Four judges will independently mark each competitor in the above classes for the duration of the Novice competitions.

The driver from each Scholarship Section that is considered by the judges to show the greatest potential will gain the section scholarship.

This does not mean that it will be automatically be given to the winner of these classes.

DECLARATION.
The drivers who wish to be considered for the Development Scholarship, must fill in their Curriculum Vitae and Commentator Information Form (this paperwork will be in all Novice driver’s competitors pack) and hand into the office before the NOVICE competition starts, thus declaring the wish to be judged and considered for the Scholarship, failure to hand in these forms at the appropriate time will deem the competitor as not be eligible. These forms will give the Judges an idea of how long you have been driving and what you have managed to achieved in that time.
