Got to say, despite the driving rain (am I mad?) this morning, I had a lovely time, and its great to be competing again! Of course, before next time I might actually remember to practice and/or get the pony slightly fitter.... |

It was a challenge when the only warm up before the P&P was the thirty second dash into the arena, and handle what Minta described as the water obstacle. (for those not at the event, the entrance to the arena was under about four inches of water where a drain was blocked.) We were doing fine until "her indoors" decided that my pointing right and saying "Right after D" meant turn left in Ob 2. Ho Hum Chris |

glad you had a good time, practising is always good, why not join our training days at HEC on Mondays 1 Dec, 19 Jan and 23 Feb? Hope you enjoyed the funky music which we thought would get the drivers in the spirit, and seemed to do the trick! Happy driving! Bev |

I must confess, we were a bit dubious about the choice of music. I mean, what track was played for the first of the pony novices (i.e. us lot that weren't doing well) Tragedy by Steps. We were all waiting outside wondering if that was about to happen. In all seriousness though, I wondered how our pony would go with music playing. As it is, it didn't faze him in any way. If anything it helped spur him on. Cheers, Chris |
