Hi, Our event on Feb 4th has been cancelled by WHW as the vet has extended the restrictions for another 10 days. They have put a notice up on their website and Facebook about their situation which I have copied below: "As you may be aware we recently had a small number of the horses at our Hall Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre test positive for the disease strangles. Since the initial diagnosis we have worked closely with our vet to implement and observe strict isolation procedures and biosecurity measures. We are pleased to report that the situation is improving but in order to follow best practice and reassure all of our visitors, competitors and revar/wwwrs we are still restricting any movement of horses in and out of the farm for the time being. We hope to be able to lift this restriction soon and will keep you updated." It looks at this point in time that we will be able to go ahead with our event in March. We will refund the entry fees to those competitors who have already entered. Regards, Chris and Jess |
