I must admit I am very concerned at having the cones phase in the car park. Unless the surface has been redone from memory it is very uneven. Is there not a possibility the college would let us use one of the outdoor schools for an hour?

Hi, I've heard a few regulars have withdrawn their committment to enter because of your plans to have the cones in the car park. I was going to enter later in the season but on hearing that the cones are in the car park, sorry I won't be risking my pony to having bruised soles or even tripping on the uneven hardcore. Also it's supposed to be indoor driving, knowing the venue I don't fancy being out if it rains or is slippy when it's frosty. Has a risk assessment been done? What happens if a horse or pony does go lame because of the surface? What do other people think please? Will there be horses turned out in the paddock next to the car park? Sorry just thinking about safety. Thanks

Following several years sterling work Julie Broadhurst has decided to hand over the reins to a new Team.
This comprises of myself, Sharon Pink, Julian Burleton, Paul Sidwell and Shaun Gibson. Aided by Robbie and Anne from the IDHT crew.
For the first event we are moving the cones phase out to the lorry park . Julian will design, build and run a sympathetic course for all equines big and small. We hope this will save us all up to 90 minutes off of the day.
If this is successful we will canvas opinions and decide whether to continue this into future events. Lets look forward to a great new season.
Regards.
Martin Pink
