Wix World Cup - provisional timetable Thank you all for your entries! The rules are below - same as for obstacles. Numbers will be published on the day - please pick up your bib as usual. We will be building the course from about 8:30 and your help would be much appreciated. As soon as the course is opened, everyone can walk the course. Groups 3 & 4 drivers can walk from about 11:00-11:30, too. H&S - Please walk into and out of the arena. Kindly keep your carriage parked at the side of your truck or trailer when not being used.  Here is an outline of our Wix World Cup competition on Saturday, 29 December, 2018. If you have never tried driving a "World Cup" style course of two obstacles combined with cones, now is your chance to have a go. And if you've done it before, you'll know it's great fun! This is a fun event in the main arena and is not a championship qualifier. Drivers must have competed successfully in indoor driving trials or at a BC-affiliated event before entering this event. All drivers must be current members of Indoor Carriage Driving-UK. Please make a note on your entry if you are sharing anyone or anything in the competition so we can get the scheduling right - and if you need to leave early or can stay later. It's a shorter competition day than usual. ICD obstacle rules apply - please remember your body/back protectors. Rosettes will be awarded according to class, kindly sponsored by Innate Management Systems Ltd and Samii and Donna Moncur. There are also small prizes and there will be a presentation at the end of the day in the cafe. How does it work? Each person drives the course three times in turn with the others in their group (in the same way we drive the obstacles normally). Your first go will be timed and scored but is a practice round only and does not count in the final score. The better of your second and third rounds counts in the competition. YOU CAN HELP... If you can come early (8:30) and help us build the course, we'd greatly appreciate it - and later we'll need help to dismantle it at the end of the day, too! Bring your friends and family to watch or to help? Thank you. Spectators are very welcome - free! The ace cafe and animal feed cash and carry will be open and we have the use of the warm up arena.
