The competition on Sunday will go ahead, subject to the following from Berkshire College. "We are currently asking all competitors and equine visitors to provide proof of an up to date Flu vaccination (within the last 12 months) in a valid passport for the horse(s) they wish to compete/attend-including traveling companions. I understand this creates a less than ideal situation for organisers, but we are making every attempt to ensure events continue to go ahead with minimal disruption and potential risk of spread. Ideally these would be checked as the competitors transport enters the car park, and certainly before the horses are unloaded. As per British Equestrian Federation guidelines, we are asking equines to either have been vaccinated annually, or have received at least their 2nd vaccination in the event of a "restart". Those unable to provide a valid passport with such information on should be asked to leave immediately." If you have any further questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me. Regards, Martin. |
