Equestrians in Hampshire - Hampshire Countryside Access Forum

This document is the result of a number of year's hard work by Gail Johnson, a carriage driver and BHS Hampshire Access Officer, and Gill Plumbley, BHS Access Officer in Hampshire, as members of the Hampshire Countryside Access Forum.

The Forum decided that a specific guidance document was required to raise the profile of horse riders and carriage drivers in the county. Aimed at decision makers, it places an emphasis on meeting safety needs for equestrians in accessing public rights of way now and in the future, as well as demonstrating the scale of the horse industry in Hampshire.

The content brings together information which is currently not readily available in one place.
