Fiona is quite correct, Dick and I appreciate all the stewards who put their heart and soul into our sport of Indoor Driving, at the qualfiers or at the Championships.

We had a great happy band of helpers at Keysoe, some at their first Championships while others have been with us for many years.

Julia Crockford and Jane Dunsdon kept the competitors on time, which is a must to keep the event rolling.

Tom Petitpierre, Anne Wrigley and Val Eyres kept the scoring up to date using the great program that Mike Watts updates each year.
Nigel Pullen and Jeannie Lane made a great commentary team with Jeannie using her vast experience and knowledge of our sport during the commentary.
Hilly Withenshaw kept the Cones Phase well under control with the help of Malcolm Huntingdon and Robbie.

The two Micks (Hooker & Hazell) and Robbie Pawson did a great job during the obstacle phases each day, again helped by Val.

The judges were fantastic, Mary and Steve Lunn. Jane Lamb with Jackie Durkin and Paul Edwards staying on until the end to help with the obstacle judging. We had good writers for the judges as well which makes a big difference.

Anne and Fiona Mcaout were a great help to me in the office.

Loiuse Twort and Tania were great Parking Managers keeping the parking areas with easy access in case of emergency, fortunatley there were none. Then they both helped with stewarding the arena entrance.

Antony Petitpierre did a great job designing the cones course and the obstacles, he even learnt how to use Powerpoint to produce the obstacle diagrams which many competitors appreciated.

Sheila Petitpierre did a great job as PoJ dealing with any problems as they happened.

Dick did his normal job of annoying everyone (in the nicest possible way) which he throughly enjoys.

Some competitors and spectators helped as well when we were short of stewards, Lindsey Dorran and Catherine Walton stepped up, which was very much appreciated in a moment of panic!

The Championships are very hard work over four long days (7am-8pm) but very enjoyable days, so nice to see so many people really enjoying themselves.

If I missed anyone out please accept my apologies, you were fantastic too and very much appreciated

THANK YOU ALL who helped this year, Thank you to all our sponsors without whom we would be hard pushed to produce the Championships and to all competitors who made it such a great Championships.

See you all for the 2019 - 2020 Winter seasons qualifiers and the Championships at Keysoe 4 - 6 April 2020.

Have a great and successfull summer.

We appreciate your kind comments!
We all worked hard to make our Championships a great event.
It’s all run by volunteers, as you know, and so your appreciation and enjoyment of the event is our reward.
More people stepped up to help this year and are keen to do it again. What makes it all work is everyone’s sprit of co-operation and determination to have a good time!
It’s a team effort...
We value your feedback and we want to make it even better next year!
