It is with great sadness I heard of the passing of Kay Hooper yesterday.

Living in Chichester and working for the Duchess of Richmond, Kay managed to find time to help and encourage many young and not so young carriage drivers over many years.

Kay was brave and her normal happy self, right up to the end after a fight with lung cancer. She was a great carriage driving judge and judged many times in the South East area of Indoor Carriage Driving plus a couple of sessions of judging at the British ICD Championships at Keysoe, also at many local and regional horse driving trials.

Kay will be greatly missed by many people.

RIP Kay, God bless.
