Here are the times and obstacle groups for our first event at Vale View (Old Dalby, Melton Mowbray LE14 3LX).
Thank you to all who have entered and for your patience with not only securing the dates, but also the multitude of new safety regulations that are now in place. I am hoping you will all help me out a bit and try to stick to these as rules breakers will have a huge detrimental effect on our event at Vale View.
The cones course and the obstacles will be emailed to all competitors today - if you do not receive them, please check your bulk/spam box. Please message me ASAP if you do not receive them.
Please may I stress to be ready 10 minutes before your time as it keeps the day running smoothly.
Just a few reminders once again - please also re-read the rules from my last post.
- Face masks please!
- Only 10 drivers to walk the cones at a time please.
- Only 10 drivers & grooms per obstacle at a time please.
- Each 'bubble' will be allowed 10 minutes to walk the cones and each obstacle - a bell will ring once times up and you must move on.
Please follow the carriage horse photo to direct you to our parking area - drive in and its on your left - and park sensibly.
Please double check your number and take the correct bib for each of your turnouts.
Remember your body protectors for the obstacles - no one likes to be eliminated so don't let it be you!
** Vale View General Rules - PLEASE READ **
No horses or ponies to be left unattended tied to lorries or horse box and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of your lorries/horse boxes.
Please pick up all droppings and let's try to keep the place tidy - THIS INCLUDES THE WARM UP ARENA AND THE CAR PARK PLEASE. Thank you.
