British Carriagedriving Training Clinics at Ashfields Monday 3rd May 2021 (day after the National Ashfields event)

There will be four free clinics on Bank Holiday Monday for all National and Club officials, and anyone interested in becoming a BC or club official. We aim to have a mixture of practical and theory on the day, depending on the weather, so please come dressed to be outside as required.

The clinics will start at 10am have a short break for lunch (not provided) and finish around 15:00. All interested please meet the clinic directors outside the Ashfields club house around 9.50am. Please arrive early so we can start on time.

Please respect all Covid 19 guidelines and social distancing.

Technical Delegates clinic - taken by Mr Philip Bateman FEI 4* Official and course director, to cover all aspects of being a TD. Philip is a very experienced TD and will be happy to field questions from other events or situations that have arisen previously.

Course builders clinic - looking specifically at cones will be Mr Barry Hunter, an FEI 4* Official and course director. Barry is very experienced having officiated over many years up to and including World Championship competition. This will include building and design of the cones course and competition.

Dressage officials clinic - this will be taken by Mr Andrew Counsell FEI 4* Dressage judge and course director. The time will be divided between driven dressage and looking at cones judging using the cones course built by the course designers.

Stewards clinic – this will look at the many and varied roles of stewards in the sport of driving trials and be presented by Malcolm Aickin, a very experienced steward and National Technical Delegate.

You can register to attend as a guest on www.British Carriagedriving.co.uk, Member Login (you don’t have to be a member), under Training.
