At this event the cones course and the obstacles will be in the arena at the same time. Precision & Paces runs as usual. After clearing the arena, we’ll build the cones course and two obstacles: your help is appreciated. There will be a longer time allowed to walk the cones and obstacles. You’ll drive through the start and finish for the cones and again for each obstacle – and always in the same direction. We’ll put everyone into small groups, like we do normally for driving the obstacles. In turn, you’ll drive the cones course, stay in the arena, loop briskly round to the start again. Drive obstacle one, at the far end of the arena, as normal, finish, loop round. Go through the start and drive obstacle two… drive through the finish. Return to the warm-up arena. Then, in turn, return to drive the obstacles again as three and four – finish! We plan to hold a Covid-safe rosette presentation when everything is cleared away. Rules reminders Please wear body/back protectors for cones so you are ready to drive the obstacles. Cones – the groom must not speak or assist the driver; the driver must hold the whip. Obstacles – the groom may speak and assist the driver; holding the whip is optional. Every knock-down counts – five penalties. Balls will be replaced after the cones. Please find below your P&P times. Number bibs will be available or you can print/draw your own number. Her range of drinks and yummy noms had rave reviews at the last event so bring your appetites and support her. The animal feed shop will be open until 1pm – please support them, too!
