No, the points go to one region or the other and you should say which before starting.
This is intended to be fair - although there's probably no completely 'right' solution, allowing someone to count an event to two areas at once would give that event double the weight of others, in some sense it would count twice, and would seem more unfair.
When working out how many best scores you can count, ignore the multi region events. This means if there are 8 dedicated events in a region, you count your 7 best points. These points can come from a multi region event if you elected for it to be for that region, it's just that you still only take the best 7 not the best 8.

If you are competing in both the South and South East am I right in assuming any points you may gain at this event go to both areas, if not you are at a disadvantage as you have to drop the points from one area which could be vital to you qualifying for the championships.
Also, does this mean that in the South East there are now 9 events and not 8 as in the SE diary? Does it mean you have to do 9 and drop 1 or is it 9 and drop 2, or 8 and drop 1 and this is just an extra? |

Would competitors who wish to take part at this event please note that you will be able to allocate any points gained to either the South or the South East regions' league tables. It is hoped that this will encourage more competitors to the event as, at the moment, we only have 10!
