Security - at our local events we all know each other and, dare I say it, we might not keep everything under lock and key: we rely on each other to keep an eye on our stuff.
At big events we all need to be more careful and security-conscious.
We, ICD, have looked into having security services at our Championships but they are very expensive and no-one can be everywhere nor can total security be guaranteed.
So - please take a few minutes to Google ideas about security marking tack - Horse & Hound and local police forces publish good advice.
Take photos of all your precious harness.
Marking it with a UV pen in an unworn place, stamping it with your post code - spending some time now thinking about how to keep it all safe when you are away from your trailer or horsebox could save you heartache and worse… and get some ‘security marked’ stickers to display.
