The results are now on this site. Pictures - dressage and fancy dress - on www.mikewatts.com. Thanks to everyone who took part or helped. Sorry it was a long day - next time we'll make the obstacles rather shorter. Owing to the time it was taking and the shortness of the day, later classes just did two obstacles [though the scores still ended up like four shorter obstacles!) Better still, enter our competition to design an indoor obstacle. Please send your design(s) to: Fiona, Ivy Cottage, Boot St, Great Bealings, Woodbridge IP13 6PB by post or email or fax 0870 133 0954. Closing date 31st January, judged by Roger Alway. The prize is; the best obstacles will be built and used. We have up to six straight elements 3m long, six L shapes 1.5 to 2 m each side and up to 4 barrels, to make two obstacles. The arena is (only) 20m wide by 50m long. We need to put the Start/Finish at the centre of one long side of the arena. Thanks to a bit of "persuasion", we now have 36 entries... and the judges and our usual hard-working "backroom staff" are happy to run our biggest ever event! We'll need a few more stewards to help to keep everything going to schedule so if you have any friends who wish to work off their Christmas puddings, please ask if they'd like to spend a couple of hours helping us?
