That is great for all the ponies but still think the limit is too small. Just my opinion and not taking anything away from all the hard work you have put into this. Just a shame for all my 11.2's. I know everyone will have a bit of a moan about where the limit should have been set but if asked I would have suggested 12.0hh.

Small Pony Challenge.

Can we have a small pony class? that has been the question for many years now. Janet Sycamore is presenting rosettes for the BEST small pony in each area this season,(most points) to be sent at the end of the season, this will help us with numbers of small ponies competing regulary.

The Small Pony Challenge Pony will be decided at the Finals when the Small Pony turnout (single, pair, tandem, team) with the BEST SCORE OVERALL will be awarded this trophy.
Maybe, just maybe, next season, a class for small ponies, but it does matter to us that small ponies get their efforts noticed.

There will be 14 classes at Keysoe this year, with a possible 140 competitors!!! A huge advance on the first Finals.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Keysoe.
Rita, Secretary.

Can someone clear up how this challenge works? Is there a separate class at Keysoe or is it like the Supreme Champion where every competes in their class and a winner is the best out of all the classes.

OK - you win, there will be a Perpetual Challenge Trophy at the Championship Finals at College EC, Keysoe 29 - 30 March 2008.

I spent a few years driving a small pony pair,(11 hands) what fun we had, they were so nippy in the obstacles, but did not have a cat in hells chance of getting anywhere as could not do the times, gosh- I wish I had them now, they would have loved indoors, but when I was driving them Dick was still playing at team driving and indoors wasn't even a twinkle in his eye!

So I have decided to present a challenge trophy for the best small pony turnout OVERALL. The winner will come from any class, and will have the best overall score of all small pony competitors. To qualify for this trophy, all ponies MUST be under 11 hands and not a millimeter more, at this height all small ponies get a chance.

I am sure this height limit will not be acceptable to some but having driven 11 hand ponies, and this trophy is in their honour.......

Good luck all little ponies.
cu at the Finals

Rita
