Update: Paul was actually diagnosed with a viral infection which caused him to lose consciousness. However, he's recovering at var/www with Elizabeth, Lyndsey and Alison.
The Tyas family were overwhelmed with everyone's kindness, and how everyone rallied round. Janice and Sid have returned the lorry, Jack the horse and the dog today (Tuesday). The carriage drivers of Norfolk and East Anglia proved what terrific camaraderie there is amongst us and the Tyas family really appreciate all their support.

We are all very relieved and delighted to learn that Paul was diagnosed as suffering from hypothermia and is out of hospital now (Monday) and at var/www with his family. The Tyas family thank everyone for their help and kind wishes.

Just a short note to say that paramedics were called to Forest Edge to attend Paul Tyas who collapsed in the lorry park at the end of the event after backstepping for his daughter Lindsey. Paul was taken to hospital where he is remaining for tests. His wife Elizabeth and daughter Alison are with him.

The horse, lorry and dog are safe with Sid and Janice. Thank you to those who helped and to those many others who offered their help. Our thoughts are with the Tyas family. We'll keep you posted.
